Nice! Does either tattoo represent anyone or thing??
Mine is Egyptian. The left eye of Horus is considered the "evil eye" while the right eye was considered to have regeneration powers. It is technically the yin-yang theory except from Egyptian history. An ankh is also an Egyptian symbol meaning "life".
Scott's is simply a semblance of me on a bike, with our wedding date on the license plate.
